Overview
Blocks is in Raa, shaped around a pinnacle standing in open blue. Working depths are usually about 8–28 m, with 15–30m visibility when the sea is kind.
Best window: Southwest monsoon (May–Oct). Look for reef fish, surgeonfish, wrasses, nudibranchs, shrimp. Guides who know this corner tend to save it for a day when the water is settled.

1. Entry
Reach the site by boat. Check wind, swell, and surface drift before you roll in — the GPS mark is the feature, not a guaranteed entry lane.

2. At depth
Circle the crown first, then drop to the shoulder where the fish stack up. One slow lap tells you where the cleaning stations and the blue-water side are. Stay close enough to the rock to read the current.

3. Coming up
Finish with a safety stop near 5 m and send up an SMB so the boat can follow you. Do not surface in a busy pass or under another boat without a marker.
Local tips
The profile suits intermediate divers, and the current is mild. A light push is common. Start on the side the water is coming from so the feature you came for is in front of you.
Reef care
Give cleaning stations a wide berth and keep your fins off the crown. The fish will come closer if the group stays still.
