How do I get to Kaafu Atoll?
Kaafu is reached from Velana International Airport by the transfer that matches your island: speedboat, domestic flight plus boat, or a daylight seaplane. Check the island page on Atoll Compass before you book, because the atoll name alone does not tell you the boat time.
What is the best time to visit Kaafu?
November to April is the drier northeast monsoon. May to October brings more rain and, on exposed reefs, the main surf swell. Diving in Kaafu is possible in both seasons if you accept the occasional cloudy day.
