Welcome to NorthRides. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the NorthRides mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use NorthRides. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
Service Description
NorthRides is a technology platform that connects users with independent drivers and service providers. NorthRides does not provide transportation services directly and is not a transportation carrier.
User Responsibilities
Users agree to use the platform responsibly, follow all applicable laws, respect drivers and service providers, and refrain from abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe behavior.
Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. NorthRides is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
Pricing & Payments
Trip prices, fees, and charges are displayed before confirming a booking. Prices may vary based on distance, time, demand, or service type. All payments must be completed through approved payment methods available on the platform.
Cancellations
Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of cancellation and driver assignment. Details are shown at the time of cancellation and are subject to change.
Tips
Tips provided by users are voluntary and go directly to the driver. NorthRides does not deduct any portion of tips.
Wallet, Rewards & Promotions
Wallet balances, loyalty points, and promotional credits may be subject to specific terms, expiry conditions, and usage restrictions. Promotional credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Service Availability
NorthRides does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of services. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, system updates, or technical issues.
Limitation of Liability
NorthRides is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to service delays, cancellations, or third-party actions.
Termination
NorthRides reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, fraudulent activity, or behavior that compromises safety or service quality.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Maldivian courts.
Changes to Terms
NorthRides may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
